Creating a Ticketed Event
You can set up a ticketed event and have tickets on sale in only minutes!
Go to: Manage>Tickets>Manage Events and hit New to create a new event or Manage next to an existing event to change the settings.
- Choose your ticket settings.
- Enter the details of your event.
- Choose your order options.
- Choose your donation options.
- Create your venue.
- Create your dates.
- Create your ticket types.
- Start selling!
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Choose your ticket settings.
- Contact Details: Enter the email address and phone number that should be shown to your patrons on their ticket receipts. This is the email address and phone number that you want your patrons to use if they have questions.
- Order Notifications & Sales Summary Digest: These options allow you to decide how often you would like to receive email updates about ticket sales.
- Enter the details of your event.
- Create the event name.
- Create the event description.
- Upload an event image for the ticket page.
Note: Any standard image file type works. (JPG, PNG, etc.) Rectangular-shaped images (1920x1080) look best, but the system will adjust to almost any image automatically!
- Choose your order options.
- Choose who pays the ticket fees.
- Choose ticket delivery methods.
- Include any additional information that you would like to provide on ticket receipts that your patrons receive by email.
- Choose your donation options.
- Would you like to ask your patrons for a donation before they checkout?
- If so, you can customize your "ask" message to match the needs and personality of your organization.
- Choose your admission type and create a venue.
- Create your event dates.
- Add one or more dates for the event.
- Choose the venue.
- Choose the total event capacity, if any.
- Create your ticket types.
- Choose prices.
- Choose capacity for each type, if any.
- Hit Finish and you're done!
- Start sales!
When you're ready, you can Start Sales and share the event URL on your website, social media, or by email!
